About Us

We’re a family of four who love being outdoors — fresh air, muddy shoes, and staying on the move are our happy place. Keeping active has always been part of our lives, and we’re doing our best to pass that love for adventure on to our kids.

It all began in London, where bikes were everything — rides to the park, school runs, and our escape from a flat full of restless toddlers. When we bought our son, Sam, his first balance bike, we quickly learned how fast kids outgrow them. We saved it for his sister, Evi… only for her to stage a toddler rebellion and refuse to use it because it wasn’t pink, purple, or gold!

Fast forward a few years, we’re back in sunny Cape Town. Within days, Sam was begging for a new bike, and we were shocked by how expensive it was to buy two. Like many parents, we made the “buy it big so it lasts longer” mistake — cue wobbly rides, tears, and lost confidence. When we couldn’t find a long-term rental option, an idea started rolling… and Go Go Bikes was born!

Our adventure’s just getting started, and we’re beyond grateful for everyone who’s jumped on this ride with us — from the friends who helped fuel our dream, to our awesome team of bike techs, couriers, designers, and marketing wizards keeping the wheels turning. And of course, a huge shoutout to the brilliant folks behind Avalanche, Sprocket, and Titan for their amazing bikes.
